The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault tiptronic switch down, circuit short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor starter interlock, circuit open you can see the nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
16204 Possible Causes:
16204 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 16204 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
