16203 Description And Summary :

Accumulated in electronic control units so internal control module: eeprom error causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system mil control circuit, open / short to b+ . So for next bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation will delay your vw fault.

16203 Possible Causes:

16203 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 16203 Code

  • Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
