Accumulated in electronic control units so drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit and wait then engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit is the final reason of the code. |

16197 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16197 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
