When you open ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, implausible message of the abs control module you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
16189 Possible Causes:
16189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16189 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
