16188 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine injector control pressure, too high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction and wait then egr system, regulation range exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
16188 Possible Causes:
16188 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 16188 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
