Accumulated in electronic control units so reductant injection valve circuit range / performance, bank 2 unit 1 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 2 sensor 1 or injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
16186 Possible Causes:
16186 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 16186 Code
- Inspect all the connections a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
