Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground and intake air heater "a", circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |

16186 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16186 Code
- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
