16185 Description And Summary : |

When you open injector control pressure, too high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to low and wait then injector cylinder 15 (n392), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
16185 Possible Causes:
16185 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16185 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
