Staring in engine pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
16183 Possible Causes:
16183 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 16183 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
