When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), electrical malfunction you can see the relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), interruption/short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
16181 Possible Causes:
16181 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

- Inspect all the connections coolant pump control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
