When you open ignition coil cylinder 15, open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil 'a' primary control, short to plus and valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), circuit low input is the final reason of the code. |
16178 Possible Causes:
16178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 16178 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
