16174 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine coolant fan (v7), open circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more load signal, error message from ecu and wait then cylinder 12 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
16174 Possible Causes:
16174 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 16174 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
