When you open starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module battery monitoring or coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
16174 Possible Causes:
16174 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 16174 Code
- Inspect all the connections control circuit for controller for turbocharger 1 (j724): electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
