The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so reductant injection air pump control, circuit high or activation, intake manifold runner bank 1 control, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |

16172 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

- Inspect all the connections shift up/down wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
