16168 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses you can see the 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
16168 Possible Causes:
16168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16168 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
