This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more radiator fan (v7), difficulty of movement / blocked . On the other hand ecm/pcm power input, signal high is the final reason of the code. |
16166 Possible Causes:
16166 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 16166 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
