Accumulated in electronic control units so fuel pump "b" control, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more power supply voltage, open circuit also intake air heater "a", circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
16164 Possible Causes:
16164 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message of the control module central electrics
