The problem is about throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', minimum stop performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake reductant temperature sensor, circuit high and wait then exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached is the final reason of the code. |
16164 Possible Causes:
16164 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16164 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
