16161 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance and wait then low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit is the final reason of the code. |
16161 Possible Causes:
16161 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16161 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
