Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit / open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration and vehicle speed sensor 'b' is the final reason of the code. |
16157 Possible Causes:
16157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16157 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
