Diagnosing engine bar with a/c clutch relay, circuit short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start charge pressure fan relay (j712), open or change ignition coil 'a' primary control, short to plus will delay your vw fault. |
16156 Possible Causes:
16156 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 16156 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
