The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit or change glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
16154 Possible Causes:
16154 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 16154 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter interlock, circuit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
