The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault glow plug/heater relay circuit, electrical to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), interruption / short-circuit after mass you can see the intake air heater "a", circuit is the final reason of the code. |
16149 Possible Causes:
16149 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16149 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (3040), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
