This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+ . So for next ng high pressure valve (n372), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |

16148 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16148 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
