This code were stamped on VW Engine case mil control circuit, open / short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature control bank 4, range / performance . So for next throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
16146 Possible Causes:
16146 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16146 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit / open
