When you open evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck closed to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground or oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
16146 Possible Causes:
16146 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16146 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
