This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed vehicle speed sensor 'b', circuit low you can see the nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
16142 Possible Causes:
16142 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16142 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
