When you open o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4, compensation wire pump current, open circuit . So for next cylinder 4 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
16141 Possible Causes:
16141 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16141 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
