Diagnosing engine bar with throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor supply voltage for fuel injector group a, short to ground . On the other hand evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
16140 Possible Causes:
16140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 16140 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
