This code were stamped on VW Engine case planetary overdrive / low range, mechanical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, open circuit . So for next please check dtc memory of clutch ecu will delay your vw fault. |
16140 Possible Causes:
16140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 16140 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of engine ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
