This something to do with the intake camshaft timing shift lock, open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for engine storage (n144/145), interruption / short-circuit after mass you can see the nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
16131 Possible Causes:
16131 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 16131 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
