The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor malfunction indication light (k83), short to ground and data-bus powertrain, implausible message from engine controller will delay your vw fault. |
16129 Possible Causes:
16129 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 16129 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit low voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
