The problem is about pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 1 or change a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
16129 Possible Causes:
16129 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16129 Code
- Inspect all the connections friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
