The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start radiator exhaust control 2, short-circuit after pluses or change secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
16116 Possible Causes:
16116 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 16116 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
