Staring in engine intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition switch accessory position, circuit high and wait then cylinder 9 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
16109 Possible Causes:
16109 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 16109 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
