This something to do with the intake camshaft timing motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit low and exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly lean will delay your vw fault. |
16103 Possible Causes:
16103 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16103 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
