The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor control module defective and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
16102 Possible Causes:
16102 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16102 Code
- Inspect all the connections catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
