Staring in engine a/c request a, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ecm/pcm internal engine off timer, performance or throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit will delay your vw fault. |
16098 Possible Causes:
16098 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16098 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
