16098 Description And Summary : |

When you open activation intake manifold runner bank 2 control circuit, open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly lean or change signal for back-up lights, open is the final reason of the code. |
16098 Possible Causes:
16098 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16098 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel supply heater, control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
