This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high and wait then data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module fuel pump will delay your vw fault. |
16088 Possible Causes:
16088 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 16088 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of engine ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
