This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich or change exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly rich will delay your vw fault. |
16081 Possible Causes:
16081 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 16081 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure regulator, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
