Accumulated in electronic control units so camshaft position signal output, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 or change reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
16081 Possible Causes:
16081 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16081 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
