This code were stamped on VW Engine case transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit range / performance also engine torque reduction, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

16073 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
