16071 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 2 run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed intake manifold runner control: open stop outside of valid range or change nox sensor bank 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
16071 Possible Causes:
16071 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 16071 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
