Staring in engine auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck on and o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
16070 Possible Causes:
16070 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16070 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for fuel bypass (n312), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
