When you open evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit intermittent / erratic It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground . So for next cylinder 5 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
16058 Possible Causes:
16058 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16058 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'a' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
