16054 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction also throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
16054 Possible Causes:
16054 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 16054 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
