Staring in engine o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake water in fuel sensor, circuit you can see the starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
16042 Possible Causes:
16042 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

- Inspect all the connections control module 1 for cooling fan, excess temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
