Accumulated in electronic control units so coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), short-circuit after pluses or function restriction due to brake temperature will delay your vw fault. |
16040 Possible Causes:
16040 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

- Inspect all the connections crankshaft position signal output, circuit low
