Staring in engine evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle actuator control motor, circuit high or cylinder 1 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
16039 Possible Causes:
16039 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16039 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant degassing valve, control circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
