Staring in engine pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground or change electronic control module incorrect coding is the final reason of the code. |
16039 Possible Causes:
16039 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 16039 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
