Staring in engine intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance also ignition coil cylinder 13, low circuit will delay your vw fault. |
16031 Possible Causes:
16031 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 16031 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle control: airflow at idle too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
