This something to do with the intake camshaft timing accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance you can see the intake manifold runner control, default not reached is the final reason of the code. |
16021 Possible Causes:
16021 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 16021 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
