16016 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles a/c request b, circuit high you can see the intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
16016 Possible Causes:
16016 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 16016 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 11 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
