16013 Description And Summary : |

When you open kick down switch, error message from engine contr. run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed coolant fan (v7), open circuit or vehicle speed sensor 'b' is the final reason of the code. |
16013 Possible Causes:
16013 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 16013 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
