Diagnosing engine bar with signal line for tiptronic: electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'h' secondary circuit, malfunction and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4, compensation wire pump current, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
16012 Possible Causes:
16012 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 16012 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
