The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles reductant temperature sensor, circuit high and exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
16006 Possible Causes:
16006 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 16006 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'a' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
