16005 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed pre-catalyst exhaust bank 3 effect too small or change throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
16005 Possible Causes:
16005 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16005 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
