The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner control: open stop outside of valid range retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injector cylinder 14 (n392), open circuit . So for next radiator fan 3 (v284), movement restricted / jammed will delay your vw fault. |
16001 Possible Causes:
16001 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit

What To Check After Fixing 16001 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
