This code were stamped on VW Engine case vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system please check dtc memory of brake system ecu also camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
16001 Possible Causes:
16001 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 16001 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, system too rich at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
